We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires effective leadership and management skills to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly, maintains high standards of food quality, and adheres to safety regulations.

Duties

• Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
• Monitor food production processes to maintain quality and consistency.
• Implement budgeting strategies to manage kitchen expenses effectively.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry.
• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
• Familiarity with quick service, fast food, casual dining is preferred.
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and staff training.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and budgeting practices.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
