• Collect blood, urine, stool, and other clinical specimens following proper procedures.
• Verify patient identity and accurately label specimens.
• Prepare, handle, store, and transport samples safely to the laboratory.
• Assist Lab Technologists in routine laboratory activities and sample processing.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and infection-control standards in the collection area.
• Maintain proper records of collected and received specimens.
• Handle laboratory equipment and consumables carefully.
• Follow hospital/laboratory SOPs, safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Communicate professionally with patients and provide basic instructions for sample collection.
• Report any specimen-related issue, error, or incident to the supervisor immediately.

Requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years
• Education: diploma in medical laboratory technology
• Skills: laboratory technicians, laboratory management, laboratory skills, laboratory techniques & procedures, laboratory procedures, laboratory skills (bloodwork, diagnostics), laboratory techniques, laboratory regulations, laboratory safety procedures, specimen collection
