Assistant, Logistics

About the role

Nippon Sanso Singapore Ltd., a leading industrial gases company, is seeking an Assistant, Logistics to join our team. In this full-time role based in the Pioneer West Region, you will play a crucial part in supporting the smooth operations of our supply chain and distribution efforts.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of products and materials to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Assist in the management of inventory levels, including monitoring stock and identifying any discrepancies
• Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure customer satisfaction
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, such as shipping records and delivery receipts
• Support the implementation of logistics-related policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems

What we're looking for

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders
• Proficiency in using logistics software and MS Office applications
• Familiarity with warehousing operations and supply chain management processes
• A team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
• Relevant experience in a logistics or warehouse environment is preferred
