About the Role

Abhasa Rehab & Wellness is looking for a responsible and proactive Assistant – Maintenance to support the smooth functioning, safety, and upkeep of our facility. The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge, a hands-on approach to maintenance, and a willingness to work collaboratively with the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and assigned tasks promptly.
• Assist with basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance complaints and support breakdown resolution.
• Conduct routine inspections and assist with preventive maintenance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the maintenance area.
• Follow safety procedures and report potential hazards.
• Assist with inventory management and coordinate with external technicians when required.
• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and support uninterrupted facility operations.

Requirements

• ITI or relevant technical qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, facility support, or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to handle tools and perform basic repair work.
• Good teamwork, punctuality, and communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to urgent maintenance requirements.
