Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Assistant Maintenance Manager assists the maintenance manager to upkeep all power supply, plant equipment and machines to ensure they are operational effectively and efficiently to meet product quality requirements. The role ensures that industrial regulations and standards for safety are enforced.

Key responsibilities

• Assist to plan and control project work carried out under industrial safety standards
• Assist to plan and execute preventive maintenance for all plant and production equipment and machineries
• Provide equipment and machine knowledge and training to existing and new workers as needed
• Troubleshoot malfunction and technical breakdown of equipment and machines
• Assist to manage manpower for daily maintenance work
• Maintain, enforce and follow ISO procedure and industrial safety
• Assist to generate all operational related reports on time
• Create or modify parts or tools to facilitate the production process
• Maintain all working tools, parts and equipment in good condition
• Maintain good housekeeping

Requirements:

• SPM with electronic, electrical, mechanical experience
• Minimum 5 years working experience as maintenance engineer or supervisor
• Good leadership skill
• Good knowledge of packaging printing procedure and equipment
• Good communication and negotiation skill
• Good motivation skill with ability to motivate others through delegation and negotiation
• ISO standard and procedure training
• Microsoft Word and Excel using certificate
• Ability to measure, check and monitor equipment and machine performance
• Ability to plan, manage and monitor repair and modification of parts and equipment
