SPX Radiodetection is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our Bristol finance team.

The role

Working closely with the UK Finance Controller, you’ll support:

• Month-end close, including accruals, journals and reconciliations
• Management reporting and financial analysis
• VAT processing and reporting
• Staff expenses and financial transactions
• Audit and statutory reporting
• AR/AP activities and team leadership
• Finance process improvement projects across our international sites

The AR/AP element of the role may evolve as the finance structure develops.

About you

We’re looking for someone with:

• Management accounting experience
• Experience with accruals, journals, VAT and reporting deadlines
• Strong Excel skills
• Some ERP experience
• Good attention to detail and organisation
• AR/AP or people management experience is advantageous
• Manufacturing experience is a bonus, but not essential

AAT, CIMA or other accounting qualification studies are desirable.
