Job Description

Venus Group of Companies is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Accounts to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, and accounts management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
• Monitor general ledger entries and ensure accurate financial records.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Support tax compliance, audits, and statutory reporting.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–6 years of relevant experience in accounts and finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
