Assistant Manager, Aftersales Operations

About the role

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Service Technician / Mechanic to join our aftersales team. You will be responsible for carrying out vehicle inspection, maintenance, diagnosis and repair work while ensuring all jobs are completed safely and according to manufacturer and workshop standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, maintenance and repair work on customer vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and vehicle system issues.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify required repairs or maintenance.
• Perform replacement and repair of vehicle components when required.
• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures.
• Conduct quality checks and road tests where necessary.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Keep tools, equipment and work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, including EV and high-voltage safety requirements where applicable.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and other workshop team members to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.

About you

• Certificate, Diploma or relevant qualification in Automotive Technology, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience as an automotive technician or mechanic is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with EVs or high-voltage vehicle systems is an advantage.
• Able to diagnose problems and carry out repairs independently.
• Responsible, detail-oriented and committed to quality workmanship.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence.
