About the role

Heritage Trans International Co., Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager – Air Freight to join our dynamic team in Phasi Charoen, Bangkok. This is a full-time position that offers a significant opportunity to develop your career within the air freight industry. As Assistant Manager – Air Freight, you will support the management of air freight operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to our valued clients. You will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence whilst contributing to the strategic objectives of our company. This position is based on-site in Phasi Charoen, Bangkok.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily air freight operations and ensure smooth workflow across all departments
• Support the management of shipment tracking, documentation and customs clearance processes
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders and logistics partners to optimise service delivery
• Monitor and maintain compliance with air freight regulations and international safety standards
• Manage staff scheduling, training and performance to maintain high operational standards
• Assist in managing customer relationships and addressing service-related inquiries
• Analyse operational metrics and prepare reports on air freight performance
• Contribute to cost optimisation initiatives whilst maintaining service quality
• Support the resolution of operational challenges and implement corrective actions
• Liaise with senior management on operational developments and strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in air freight operations or air cargo management
• Proven supervisory or team coordination experience in a logistics or transportation environment
• Strong knowledge of air freight procedures, documentation and international regulations
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Proficiency in logistics management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Thai language is advantageous
• Problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support colleagues
• Attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in documentation and reporting
