Assistant Manager (AKARA SKY HANUMAN)

About the role

Support the Venue Manager in delivering consistent service and smooth operations across Hanuman's floors and guest experiences. Lead shifts, develop the team and coordinate departments to maintain standards across dining, drinks, entertainment and events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee assigned shifts and service areas, checking readiness, staffing and section allocation
• Remain visible on the floor and support service, guest flow and table management during busy periods
• Coordinate with kitchen, bar, reservations and entertainment teams on timings, availability and operational changes
• Welcome and engage with local and international guests and support clear explanations of the venue's experiences
• Monitor service quality and respond promptly to guest needs and feedback
• Lead briefings covering bookings, events, menus, guest requirements and shift priorities
• Coach team members on service, product knowledge, communication and presentation
• Work with the Sales & Event Manager and Venue Manager to prepare for confirmed events and group bookings
• Monitor cleanliness, grooming, presentation and food and beverage service standards
• Ensure teams follow hygiene, food safety, allergy and workplace safety procedures

About you

• Thai candidate with excellent spoken and written English
• Previous management experience in a high-volume rooftop bar is essential
• Strong restaurant and bar operations knowledge and the ability to coordinate across multiple service areas
• Confident guest relations, complaint handling, communication and team coaching skills
• Calm, proactive, fair and solution-oriented approach
• Commitment to hands-on service and a people-first working culture
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
