My client is Statutory Body is recruiting for two dynamic Assistant Manager positions to drive system optimization, automation, and digital transformation.

Role 1: Assistant Manager – Application & Development (Java and Project Management Focus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a key liaison between user departments and technical teams to gather, refine, and analyze complex system requirements.
• Oversee system application projects with a strong emphasis on project management (<50% coding/hands-on programming).
• Maintain and enhance internal applications related to university research management and campus facilities tracking.
• Present system design flows and status reports clearly to internal management and academic stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

• Around 15 years of IT experience, with a clear career progression showing a background as a System Analyst (rather than a pure Programmer).

• Strong capability in project management, timeline tracking, and managing external vendor or internal developer deliverables.

• Technical familiarity with Java programming environments is highly preferred.

• AI Tooling & Code Quality: Active experience using Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) alongside automated code agents to conduct thorough peer reviews and optimize pipeline quality.

• Ability to modularize complex programming tasks into discrete components, efficiently leveraging AI coding agents to improve time-to-market while strictly auditing outputs for logic faults or memory leaks.

• Hands-on expertise building, supporting, and migrating large enterprise environments leveraging Jakarta EE / J2EE structures, Java, and Spring / Spring Boot.

• Demonstrated experience working with enterprise-grade relational database backends, specifically Oracle RDBMS 19c, Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL), or MySQL.

• Extensive familiarity launching RESTful APIs over Node.js and inside containerized topologies. Preferred familiarity with supplementary JavaScript modules like NestJS, Next.js, and Redis.

• Clear operational experience binding apps to Azure Active Directory, configuring seamless Single-Sign-On (SSO), and enabling robust Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) routines.

• Candidates possessing solid, verified history working with short-cycle (Agile/Scrum) deployment frameworks on extensive administrative systems will have a distinct advantage.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills to navigate requirement collection with diverse user groups.

Role 2: Assistant Manager – Systems & Automation (ERP and Finance Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders to collect, analyze, and document comprehensive business and financial requirements.
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement automation using Agentic AI and Microsoft 365 Power Platform.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Robotic Process Automation (RPA) bots using Python and Microsoft Power Automate.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and ETL workflows to consolidate data for reporting and analytics.
• Support system implementation projects, troubleshoot system issues, and handle upgrades.

Candidate Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Financial Technology, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• With at least 5 years relevant experience. Strong technical background in SQL database management, data integration, and ETL processes.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools (Python, Power Platform, RPA tools).
• Excellent analytical mindset with a strong understanding of financial system logic and internal controls.
