Assistant Manager - Assets

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee asset maintenance planning and implement an automated maintenance management system to improve asset performance and reliability.
• Ensure effective implementation of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs, provide technical guidance on maintenance and breakdown issues, and manage contractor performance, evaluations, renewals, and RFQ processes.
• Monitor and analyse monthly energy consumption, identify opportunities for energy efficiency, and evaluate potential energy-saving initiatives.
• Maintain records of statutory licenses and permits for buildings and mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with relevant authorities.
• Conduct regular asset reviews to ensure buildings and M&E systems are well maintained, safety and security standards are met, and cleanliness and landscaping are properly maintained.
• Review maintenance manpower requirements and coordinate technical training and development programs for maintenance personnel.
• Perform any ad-hoc task as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in a Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Facilities Management.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in asset management, inventory control, facilities management, or a related field.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with asset management or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Working experiences in property developer or hotel industry is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
