Position: Assistant Manager - Banking Operations
Location: Malad, Mumbai
Industry: BFSI / International Banking Process
Shift: Rotational Shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and drive operational performance for International Banking (US Banking / UK Banking) processes.
• Lead and manage a team of 100+ FTEs while ensuring achievement of SLA, KPI, quality, productivity, and client satisfaction targets.
• Monitor daily operations and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Handle stakeholder and client interactions, providing regular performance updates and business insights.
• Analyze operational metrics, identify gaps, and drive action plans to improve business outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, risk management policies, and organizational standards.
• Manage attrition, employee engagement, team development, and succession planning.
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions, and team-building initiatives.
• Collaborate with Quality, Training, WFM, and HR teams to achieve operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline.
• 6 to 10 years of experience in BFSI/Banking Operations with at least 2+ years in an Assistant Manager role.
• Strong exposure to US Banking or UK Banking processes.
• Proven experience in managing 100+ FTEs in an international BPO/BFSI environment.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, customer service, risk, compliance, and process management.
• Excellent people management, stakeholder management, and client-facing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting, and operational dashboards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in Retail Banking, Consumer Banking, Cards, Mortgage, Fraud, AML/KYC, Collections, or Financial Operations.
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma or process improvement methodologies will be an added advantage.
