Assistant Manager/ Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager/Bartender to join our team. This dual-role position combines leadership responsibilities with expert bartending skills, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, with expertise in mixology, wine knowledge, and spirits. You will be responsible for managing daily operations, developing beverage recipes, and delivering outstanding hospitality in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

• Lead and assist in daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring smooth service flow and high standards of hospitality.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and specialty drinks, demonstrating advanced mixology skills.
• Develop and refine beverage recipes to enhance menu offerings and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of spirits, wines, and cocktail techniques to provide expert recommendations to guests.
• Manage POS systems efficiently for order processing and billing accuracy.
• Provide training and mentorship to staff on beverage preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
• Uphold cleanliness, safety standards, and responsible alcohol service policies at all times.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring proper stock levels of beverages and ingredients.
• Support the team in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive reviews.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality industry roles, particularly within restaurant or bar settings.
• Strong spirits experience with knowledge of various liquors and cocktail techniques.
• Expertise in mixology with the ability to craft innovative cocktails.
• Solid wine knowledge to assist guests with selections and pairings.
• Experience working with POS systems for order entry and transaction processing.
• Demonstrated ability to develop beverage recipes that appeal to diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to train is essential.

Pay: $25.17 - $30.31 per hour
