Assistant Manager, Channel Planning & Data Analytics

Job responsibilities:

• Conduct data analysis, draw insights and derive strategic decisions.  Convey findings and conclusions with professional data visualization and storytelling skills to relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a business partner to operating channels to formulate business plans to drive growth, maximize profitability, capture new opportunities and identify potential risks that may impact the business.
• Lead the team to maintain efficient data management in order to support dashboards/reports engagement and effective data mining process for regular and ad hoc initiatives.
• Conduct ad-hoc business analysis to support strategic initiatives (e.g., new store projects)
• Engage and collaborate in cross functions improvement projects.

Requirements:

• University graduate in business management, finance, accounting, statistics or related disciplines
• 5 years’ experience in data and business analysis or management accounting role. Experience in retail or consumer industries is preferred
• Microsoft application proficiency (MS Office, PowerPoint, Excel). Advanced skills with Excel is required (familiarity with functions such as pivot tables, nested formula, lookups, macros, combined graphs, etc.)
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret statistical data and financial statements
• Self-motivated, positive and have an impact-orientated mindset
