Assistant Manager-Claims Department

Responsibilities:

• Assess and approve new individual claims/complaint case/complicated case within authority and manage customer expectation by offering flexible solution.
• Prepare regular management and business reports of Claims Department.
• Assist team leader to supervise and lead the team to achieve the KPI and help driving initiatives to uplift operations efficiency and customer experience.
• Provide regular training and support to enhance professional knowledge and standard of subordinate and agency.
• Accountable for conducting business data analysis, preparing and gathering user requirements, defining project scope and reviewing functional specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate and assist in UAT activities such as preparation of test plan, test cases, pre-UAT quality check, monitoring of bug fixing, retest progress, UAT reports and post implementation monitoring.
• Work effectively and efficiently with cross-functional departments and external parties to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and aligned with company strategy.
• Participate in Product Development and liaison with reinsurers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holders in Insurance, medical, management or related disciplines.
• Holder of FLMI or ICA qualification is preferred.
• Minimum  6  years of claims or project experience in Life Insurance Industry with at least 2 years in management level.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua is definitely an advantage.
