What they need

The Assistant Manager, Client Activation is responsible for translating and executing the brand’s global/group marketing strategies across the Hong Kong and Macau markets. This role focuses on seamless campaign implementation, hands-on event operations, VIC suite/salon management, vendor relations, and delivering bespoke VIP activations aligned with brand guidelines and local commercial goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Group Strategy Alignment & Local Market Execution:

  • Translate and execute annual group marketing directions, 360° global campaigns, and regional initiatives across all retail stores, VIP salons, and event venues in Hong Kong and Macau.
  • Adapt group guidelines into tailored local activations for major seasonal moments (e.g., collection launches, Chinese New Year, Christmas).
  • Design executive-ready PowerPoint decks and activation proposals outlining ROI targets, KPIs, and post-event reporting for leadership approvals.
  • Deliver detailed post-event performance decks for regional stakeholders, assessing performance against KPIs, sales conversion, and actionable improvement plans.

Event Operations & Production Management:

  • Source, negotiate, and manage third-party vendors, production houses, and high-end venue partners across Hong Kong and Macau within budget.
  • Manage production timelines, print deliverables, and spatial setups, conducting strict quality checks to ensure brand compliance.
  • Coordinate with internal retail operations, visual merchandising, product, and store teams for smooth event logistics and product integration.
  • Lead on-site event execution across venues to ensure operational efficiency, seamless flow, and premium VIP client engagement.

VIP / VIC Suite Management & Client Engagement:

  • Manage the operational setup, event schedules, visual standards, and overall client experience for the private VIP suite.
  • Plan and curate high-touch, bespoke VIC hospitality services (F&B, bespoke gifting, specialized workshops), and exclusive store activations.
  • Partner closely with Store Managers and Client Relationship Managers to drive VIC turnout, personalize private suite experiences, and optimize client retention and conversion.

Guest Invitations, RSVP & Door Gifts:

  • Direct regional guest invitation lists, manage digital invitations (e-invites/MMS), printed invitations, on-site RSVP, and track real-time attendance confirmations.
  • Source and coordinate door gifts, VIC appreciation gifts, and bespoke client gifting concepts in line with brand guidelines and budget allocations.

Visual Design & Presentation Assets:

  • Utilize Adobe Photoshop to adapt regional marketing collateral and format localized event assets.
  • Oversee localized invitation assets (e-invites, MMS content, printed cards) and event signage, upholding strict brand guidelines across both markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of progressive experience in event execution, marketing implementation, VIP/VIC salon management, or client activation—preferably within luxury retail, high-end hospitality, or private banking covering Hong Kong and/or Macau.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing VIP client expectations and delivering high-end salon/suite hospitality experiences.
  • Strong ability to interpret regional/group brand directives and turn them into flawless local operational plans.
  • Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and budget management skills across HK and Macau networks.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple regional activations simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint to create executive-level presentation decks, strategic proposals, and reporting templates.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for graphic adaptation, localized artwork, and visual mood boards.
  • Experience with CRM systems, digital invitation platforms (MMS/E-invites), and guest tracking tools.
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
