Andersons is a well-established kitchen, timber and joinery company with branches in North-West England and South-West Scotland. Trading since 1888, over the last few years the business has experienced significant year-on-year sales and product growth.

Summary of the Role

A very exciting opportunity has become available in our Dumfries branch for the role of Assistant Branch Manager. This is a great opportunity for the right person in conjunction with the General Manager to take command of one the largest kitchen & joinery showrooms in the area.

We are seeking someone with the drive to help continue to grow the business and help build on an excellent existing sales team.

The Role

· Work with the General Manager to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of day to day branch business

· Motivate and monitor staff

· Ensure excellent customer service

· Generate new business

· Maintain relationships with existing customers

· Enhance efficiency and be able to efficiently drive sales

· Maintain a safe working environment

· Oversee stock inventory in line with company guidelines

The Person

· Excellent communication skills with customers and staff at all levels

· Ability to hit sales targets through management of your team

· Experience in the industry desirable but not essential
