Assistant Manager

About the role:

Tower Beer, Wine & Spirits is looking for an experienced and dependable Assistant Store Manager to join our team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys leading others, helping customers, and keeping a busy retail store running smoothly.

You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to support daily operations, maintain store standards, and create a positive experience for customers and employees.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide friendly, helpful customer service
• Assist with daily store operations, inventory, merchandising, and paperwork
• Support the Store Manager in leading, training, and developing employees
• Help maintain an organized stockroom and sales floor
• Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking products
• Handle customer questions and resolve concerns professionally
• Support loss prevention efforts
• Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures
• Take on management responsibilities when the Store Manager is unavailable

• Have previous retail management or leadership experience
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Are customer-focused, dependable, and organized
• Work well in a fast-paced retail environment
• Are comfortable leading and supporting a team
• Have a strong work ethic and high level of integrity
• Are interested in learning more about beer, wine, and spirits
• Can regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds
• Are available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
