The Marquess is a well-established and highly regarded pub situated in the vibrant heart of Canonbury, Islington. We are excited to announce that we are actively searching for a capable and experienced second Assistant Manager to become an integral part of our exceptional team!

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the establishment
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
• Help with food preparation and service when necessary
• Supervise team members to ensure efficient workflow
• Maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Support in managing inventory and ordering supplies
• Assist in training new employees on company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a pub, restaurant, or similar setting
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels
• Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £33,000.00 per year
