Assistant Manager

Position Summary

Taste of Texas is seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Manager to help oversee daily restaurant operations. This role supports the management team by maintaining service standards, assisting employees, addressing guest needs, and helping ensure smooth operations throughout each shift.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily restaurant operations and shift management
• Support, train, and guide team members
• Help maintain excellent customer service standards
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and safety procedures
• Assist with scheduling, opening, and closing duties
• Address guest questions and resolve service concerns professionally
• Monitor inventory and help control supplies
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Support the General Manager with operational tasks

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality management experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent customer-service mindset
• Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, dependable, and team-oriented
• Comfortable working flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
