Assistant Manager

Duties

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and excellence.
• Lead and supervise team members, providing coaching, training, and development to foster a motivated and skilled workforce.
• Manage inventory and maximize sales.
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, ensuring exceptional service through effective communication and phone etiquette.
• Support payroll processing, cash handling, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks to maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members.
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, returns, and inventory management while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Monitor store budgets, sales targets, and performance metrics to meet or exceed business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and store policies while supervising cashiering activities and supervising overall store management.

Skills

• Strong leadership abilities with proven supervising experience in restaurant environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Proficient in restaurant sales operations including POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering.
• Adept at training & development to build a cohesive team.
• Sound organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities.
• Experience with bookkeeping, payroll processing, and administrative tasks.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff while maintaining high standards of store presentation and sales performance.
• Computer skills especially Microsoft
• Police check clearance
• Food Safe Certified
• Experience with VLT's
• First Aid Certified
• Ability to Cook as needed
• Ability to work other Jobs as needed

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 44.0 per week
