Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Manager to support daily operations and team leadership within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial communication skills, supervisory experience, and proficiency with POS systems and inventory management. This role involves overseeing staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence. Additionally, candidates with vehicle maintenance knowledge are encouraged to apply, as this skill set will support specific operational needs. The Assistant Manager will serve as a key team leader, mentoring employees and ensuring tasks are completed effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in overseeing daily store or operational activities to ensure smooth functioning.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to facilitate coordination and problem-solving.
• Supervise staff members, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to keep employees on task.
• Manage POS systems for transactions, reporting, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Oversee inventory management processes to maintain stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
• Support vehicle maintenance tasks including performing oil changes, replacing fuel filters, air filters, cabin filters, and troubleshooting oil pan issues when applicable.
• Ensure that all operations adhere to safety standards and company policies in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or managerial experience with strong leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills for effective managerial interaction and team supervision.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management processes.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures such as oil changes, filter replacements, and troubleshooting oil pan issues is preferred.
• Strong mentoring skills to motivate and keep employees focused on their tasks.
• Ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks accurately and safely when required.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
