ABOUT US

We're a passionate management team who love what we do and thrive on "selling the dream" the Mount lifestyle. Our locally owned and operated store sits in the heart of stunning downtown Mt Maunganui, and we're on the lookout for our next inspiring leader and sales superstar.

We're looking for a confident, creative and customer-focused team member to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with customers on the shop floor as much as leading and inspiring a team alongside the Store Manager. You'll be a key face of our store.

The role is 5 days a week, including at least one weekend day.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your responsibilities will include;

• Lead and develop staff, including training, hiring, and performance support
• Manage inventory, stock room, replenishment, and visual merchandising
• Drive KPIs and sales targets, and contribute to strategic improvement storewide
• Providing exceptional customer service & retail sales support
• Assisting customers with product knowledge and styling/advice
• Building genuine relationships with customers and representing the store
• Opening/closing and reporting on the store
• Creating content of products, display and day to day activity.
• Assisting with social media engagement

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, organized and motivated with strong communication and people skills
• High levels of energy with a strong work ethic who can work independently and as part of a team
• Strategic thinker with a strong track record in driving sales and customer satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Being operationally excellent and experienced with stock control and visual merchandising
• Previous Retail Management experience is preferred
