We are locally owned and operated, and have called The Village at Riverstone home for 18 amazing years. We are also growing! We recently opened our second location downtown in The Shops. Our stores are where function meets fashion, and where you can find a little something for wherever your next adventure takes you. We are home to the best active and outdoor brands in the world including, Vuori, Kuhl, Patagonia, Helly Hansen, Prana, Canada Goose, and so many more. We are currently looking for an assistant manager that will work at both our Riverstone and Downtown locations weekly. This is a part-time to full-time role with room to grow — perfect for someone who’s dependable, positive, and eager to contribute.

Position Outline:

An assistant manager will partner with the store manager and leadership team in directing all activities with these goals in mind:

• Ensuring the customer experience is consistently positive
• Individual and store sales
• Exemplary merchandising presentation
• Loss prevention

Core Accountabilities:

• Drive store sales daily/weekly/monthly
• Assess, manage and communicate business opportunities to store manager
• Manage and motivate team
• Partner in training and development of staff in accordance with Escape Outdoors guidelines
• Ensure completion of tasks within designated timeframes
• Maintain visual & organization standards
• Process incoming product efficiently
• Prepare warranties for both store stock and customer items
• Utilize B2B ordering platforms to meet store stock and customer needs
• Ensure compliance of all loss prevention practices

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

• Retail management: 1 year (Required)
