Job Summary

Needs to be 100 percent bilingual ! Spanish and English We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager with a strong foundation in food service management to develop into a future General Manager. Duties

• Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery across all shifts
• Lead and motivate team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management
• Manage food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards and consistency in every dish served
• Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation
• Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and reducing waste
• Supervise food safety practices in compliance with health regulations and company policies
• Support kitchen management by overseeing food production, culinary standards, and kitchen cleanliness
• Conduct staff interviews, participate in hiring decisions, and assist with staff scheduling and shift management
• Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings
• Contribute to training programs focused on food handling, customer service excellence, and team leadership

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
• Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry is essential
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting
• Knowledge of inventory control techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices
• Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks including team training, staff development, and customer interactions
• Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing hospitality teams or supervising restaurant staff
• Strong organizational skills to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high service standards
• Experience with budgeting, cost control, and profit analysis is preferred
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
