Assistant Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth functioning.
• Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Assist in managing merchandising displays to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
• Coordinate staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure high standards of organisation and productivity.
• Handle customer enquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including stock levels, sales reports, and employee attendance.
• Contribute to training programmes for new staff members and support ongoing team development initiatives.
• Assist in implementing promotional campaigns and sales strategies to enhance store performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and organisational policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within Hospitality environments, with supervising or team management responsibilities.
• Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent organisational skills and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional phone manner.
• Administrative experience including record keeping, reporting, and utilisation of organisational tools or software.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and delivering exceptional customer service.
• Previous experience in Pubs or Hotels or related fields is preferred but not essential; a proactive attitude is essential for success in this role. Pay: £13.75-£15.00 per hour
