Duties

• Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies
• Supervise and motivate team members, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to foster growth
• Oversee customer service interactions, resolving issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
• Coordinate merchandising efforts, including pricing strategies and product placement to maximize sales potential
• Handle payroll processing, cash handling, and bookkeeping tasks accurately and efficiently
• Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new staff members
• Manage inventory purchasing, stock replenishment, and POS (Point of Sale) system operations to ensure product availability
• Implement marketing initiatives within the store to boost foot traffic and sales performance
• Assist in budgeting activities and sales management to meet or exceed targets
• Maintain organizational standards by supervising cashiering duties, ensuring proper phone etiquette, and managing administrative responsibilities

Skills

• Proven supervisory experience in a retail environment with strong team management capabilities
• Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
• Strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and conflict resolution
• Proficiency in recruiting, interviewing, training & development processes
• Sound knowledge of payroll processing, bookkeeping, and budgeting principles
• Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and sales management tools
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales operations
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively under time constraints
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence and staff motivation
• Adept at marketing initiatives and promotional activities within a retail setting
• Strong math skills for inventory control, pricing adjustments, and financial recordkeeping
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for engaging with customers and vendors alike
