Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is integral to the smooth operation of our retail store, requiring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach. The Assistant Manager will support store management in daily activities, oversee staff, and ensure excellent customer service. Duties

• Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
• Support staff management through employee orientation, training, and development programs
• Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy
• Manage POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and sales transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and store procedures
• Support marketing initiatives to promote store products and services
• Supervise shift management to ensure operational efficiency during scheduled hours

Skills

• Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent team management skills
• Proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and pricing strategies
• Exceptional communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service excellence
• Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are a plus for diverse customer interactions
• Skilled in inventory control, merchandising, stocking, and retail math
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, cashiering, and retail software applications
• Ability to train staff effectively and foster a positive work environment
• Strong organizational skills with time management expertise .

Pay: $10.45 - $11.45 per hour
