We are on the lookout for a creative, highly motivated Assistant Store Manager to assist our Store Manager to run our beautiful George Street store, help lead our sales team, and elevate our social presence.

The Role

Working closely alongside our Store Manager, you will be the driving force on the showroom floor. This is an active, floor-based role where you’ll split your time between styling customers, visual merchandising, handling online order, customer inquires & more. You will lead by example, helping to keep our store operations slick and our floor energy unmatched.

What You’ll Do Daily:

● Elevate the Floor: Create memorable, premium shopping experiences bydelivering personalised styling advice and next-level service.

● Drive Results: Partner with the Store Manager to meet store KPIs and motivate the floor team to smash goals.

● Visual Storytelling: Help execute immaculate visual merchandising standards that showcase our newest drops and premium pieces.

● Operations & Inventory: Assist with inventory handling, stock replenishment, and opening/closing store workflows.

● Team Leadership: Act as the key leader on duty when the Store Manager is away, fostering a fun, supportive, and accountable culture.

● Social Media: Contribute to the social media & content across our platforms to maximise our reach & conversions.

What We’re Looking For:

● Retail Background: 1–2+ years of retail experience (Assistant Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Stylist/Sales) ideally in a fashion, streetwear, or boutique setting.

● Brand Passion: A deep love for contemporary fashion and a familiarity with our brand roster (you know your way around street style and premium local designers).

● People Skills: A natural conversationalist who loves building relationships with our Dunedin community and regulars.

● Flexibility: Willingness to work weekend shifts and holiday breaks to keep the store humming when it's busiest.
