Assistant Manager

Job Summary

A leader who assists the General Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, staff, and patrons. Oversees staff training, payroll, cash handling, scheduling, cleaning, reports, concession stand, box office, and building maintenance. Fosters a positive work environment to ensure the fair treatment and happiness of our staff and guests.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Trains staff using Starlight Cinemas standard training procedures

• Inventory of sale items and items of value

• Ability to handle cash and be comfortable around money

• Deals with guests concerns in an efficient and friendly manner

• Comfortable managing food and alcohol sales

• Comfortable with having to ensure cleanliness

• Enforcing policies and procedures for Starlight Cinemas

• Contributes in a way that is beneficial to the overall theatre operation

Qualifications and Skills

• 2 years of management or supervisor experience, movie theatre experience a plus

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Must be willing and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Good communication skills

• Comfortable using Windows-based operating systems

• Be able to demonstrate professionalism

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
