Salary: From £33,000.00 per annum subject to hours & experience
Location: Cambridge, Riverside Location, corner of Jesus Green.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in pub or hospitality roles, with a flair for exceptional service and team support.

About Our Assistant Manager:

We’re looking for a hands-on, enthusiastic leader who thrives in a bustling pub environment. As Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager and leading the team to ensure Byron’s Bear delivers exceptional experiences every day.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the pub.
• Leading and motivating the team to provide warm, efficient service.
• Helping to oversee staff training, development, and performance.
• Ensuring the quality of food, drink, and service meets our high standards.
• Contributing to financial controls, stock management, and achieving sales targets.
• Acting as a friendly, confident host for customers and a reliable point of contact for staff.

• Previous experience in a management role in pubs or hospitality.
