Assistant Manager: Locked In A Room - Bristol

Locked In A Room offers the UK's largest escape room venues with branches in Bristol, Southampton and Exeter. This is a call to recruit an amazing Assistant Manager for our Bristol branch!

Participants are "locked in a room" with a series of tests, puzzles and clues that, combined with teamwork, will allow the unlocking of the room's mystery and hopefully a successful escape, challenging them every step of the way.

The role of Assistant Manager is a varied position that requires applicants to be confident in customer facing roles, happy with performing and diligent with back of house duties.

The job also entails the following elements:

• To assist the Venue Manager in the day to day running of the venue
• To manage all bookings, making sure mistakes are minimised and up-sell when practicable
• Ongoing management and training of staff to ensure a strong and supported team
• Contribute to the recruitment and training of high-quality candidates
• Supervise the work employees carry out in the venue
• To ensure the safety of the venue and its customers at all times (Locking doors, removing obstructions from fire routes and follow all general safety measures)
• To make sure the quality of the customers experiences are to the highest standard possible

You must also be able to carry out the Games Master role as standard, this includes hosting and performing a backstory; monitoring teams while they are inside the rooms and resetting the rooms. Your role will also include any reasonable ad hoc duties that the company may require.

Escape room knowledge not necessary as full training will be provided!
