Assistant Manager

Oversee daily operations in highly fast-paced settings, supervise staff, ensure food safety standards are met, and create a welcoming environment for guests.

Duties

• Manage team members by providing coaching and fostering a positive work environment while helping to uphold store and staff policies.
• Assist with staff scheduling by helping maintaining adequate staffing, balance employees’ availability, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee restaurant operations including POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper sanitation practices across all bar and dining areas.
• Coordinate food service activities with kitchen staff to optimize workflow and customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding hospitality experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies, and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health standards.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within the hospitality/restaurant management industry.
• Demonstrated outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating welcoming environments for new guests as well as building rapport with returning guests.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen procedures.
• Previous restaurant experience including hospitality roles such as barista or hotel food service is highly desirable.
• Must be prepared to work upwards towards this role.

Pay: $18.25-$29.70 per hour
