Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day operations, including billing, application processing, utility readings
• Enforce payment deadlines and issue late notices
• Apply community rules consistently and fairly, and conduct regular property inspections
• Ensure compliance with local and state housing regulations
• Prioritize and respond quickly to emergencies and property concerns
• Keep communication clear and friendly with residents, staff, and management
• Manage maintenance personnel and handle task delegation

About You

• Available for on call after hour emergencies
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Self-motivated leader with strong management, phone and organizational skills
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and willing to learn property management software
• Professionally and courteously manage inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns and follow up accordingly
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Open to learning our business policies
• Must have reliable transportation

Schedule

• Required to work weekends and holidays
• On call
• Overtime

License/Certification: Driver's License (Required)

Compensation

Pay: $18.00 - $23 an hour.

Housing: Free housing offered on site

Utilities: Credit towards monthly utilities
