Assistant Manager

We are an independently owned, canal-side pub in the heart of the Northamptonshire countryside. Our focus is on delivering quality, fresh food, perfectly served drinks & a warm, friendly welcome.

Now we're on the hunt for a talented 'pub person' to join our team, supporting the General Manager in the running of the business.

Dynamic & forward thinking individuals jump to the front of the queue... New ideas are encouraged & the ability to 'think outside the box' is essential. Attention to the smallest of details is definitely required, as is the desire to provide the best experience for each & every one of our beloved customers.

You will be asked to manage services in the absence of the GM, ensure that you're getting the best out of your team & make the right decisions on the fly!

Experience in a similar role is essential... You should have been involved in looking after quality ales, delivering a fresh menu (real foodies apply here!), motivating your team & making sure all the boxes are ticked in regards to all current legislation.

We are a busy pub, so this role is not for the feint-hearted! The ability to 'lead from the front' is a must & your sleeves will be rolled up for a lot of your working day!

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
