The Tap | Assistant Manager

$50,000–$54,000 annually • Salaried leadership role

Help build the kind of restaurant team people want to be part of.

At The Tap, we are looking for leaders who understand that memorable hospitality comes from a team that works together and takes pride in the guest experience. As an Assistant Manager, you will help turn great hospitality into an everyday experience. You will lead shifts, support your team, and work closely with the General Manager to strengthen service and restaurant performance. Your judgment and ideas matter here.

What you’ll make happen

• Lead daily shifts with a focus on guest experience, teamwork, and consistent execution.
• Coach, train, and support hourly employees; help identify future leaders.
• Partner with the General Manager on scheduling, staffing, labor, and operational priorities.
• Handle guest concerns thoughtfully and keep service moving during busy periods.
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash controls, safety, and company standards.

Compensation, benefits & scheduling

Annual salary: $50,000–$54,000. Benefits include:

• Professional development and growth opportunities

Managers generally work about 45–55 hours per week, with actual hours varying based on restaurant needs, traffic, and events. General Managers and their management teams build their schedules, allowing flexibility to plan for personal commitments while ensuring appropriate coverage. PTO remains available under company policy.
