Assistant Manager

We are currently seeking a Full- Time Assistant Manager for Affordable Housing property that In Punta Gorda, Florida. The ideal candidate will have Tax Credit experience and PH Experience a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Preparation of leases and other application forms
• Unit inspections and building inspections
• Ensure collection and deposit of all resident payments
• Ensure all residency files are maintained accordingly
• Effectively represent the company in community activities with the property
• Generate recertification letters LIHTC Programs
• Fully prepare and complete annual recertifications for all residents within assigned portfolio.
• Correspond with tenants and other departments to ensure recerts and move-ins are processed in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Attention to detail
• Must be capable of overseeing multiple functions simultaneously, with a keen sense of prioritization
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to details strong verbal and written community skill.

10. Some type of formal training in the following areas:

a. Knowledge and experience with YARDI software or similar software

b. Fair Housing Laws

c. Rent Collection and recording keeping
