Work from Office - Monday to Saturday •

Office Timings: 9:30 AM 6:30 PM

Manages: the content pod (senior writer, 4 executive writers, social, SEO/GEO/AEO, coordinator)

ROLE PURPOSE

The operational engine of the content function. Turns the Head of Content's strategy and brand voice into shipped, on-time, on-quality content across every vertical, while leading and developing the team. A player-coach - hands-on on the hardest briefs, and accountable for the whole team's output.

SPECIALTY FOCUS

Execution ownership across all 5+ content calendars + team leadership + quality and cadence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the master editorial calendar and delivery across B2B/Trade, B2C/D2C, Marketplace, Founder and Corporate - every calendar ships on time and on brief.
• Lead, coach and quality-check the team; set the bar for craft, brand voice and accuracy; run final editing/QC before publish.
• Translate the Head of Content's strategy and voice guidelines into clear briefs and assignments; balance workload across the team.
• Act as cadence owner - run editorial stand-ups, unblock writers, and manage priorities against campaign and trade deadlines.
• Personally write and edit high-stakes and overflow content.
• Partner with Demand Gen, Performance Marketing, Design, Ecommerce and Sales; hold the line on complete briefs before work starts.
• Report output, quality and impact to the Head of Content.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5-6 years of content/copywriting, including 1-2 years leading or mentoring writers.
• Proven editorial judgment and hands-on writing across multiple formats.
• Strong project and calendar management; comfortable running cadence and many concurrent deliverables.
• Excellent editing and brand-voice discipline; ruthless on quality and accuracy.
• Executes the Head of Content's strategy without needing to own strategy; gives and takes direction well.

PREFERRED

Exposure to both B2B and consumer content; food/FMCG; experience standing up content processes.

CANDIDATE BACKGROUND

Consumer / FMCG / food / retail / D2C / marketplace / general brand. Not IT / SaaS / tech-product.
