Assistant Manager, Continuing Professional Development

About the role

You will support the CPD Lead in designing and delivering Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes that strengthen the capabilities and engagement of IHRP-certified professionals. The role combines community engagement, content planning and data-driven insights to deliver relevant learning experiences, support professional growth and sustain participation across the IHRP ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse data from multiple sources, including Annual Community Pulse Survey, IHRP Connect, CRM portal and community feedback forums to derive actionable insights on member behaviour, interests and development needs
• Research and identify business and HR trends and issues to keep the IHRP community updated on the latest relevant and emerging hot topic areas
• Develop CPD programming content and plan out the CPD calendar at least 6 months in advance, including making timely updates to the corporate events calendar
• Manage CPD events including ensuring positive RSVP rates, management of vendors/partners on venue, F&B, photography and booth exhibition, as well as day-of-event logistics
• Capture event highlights for post-event LinkedIn postings and prepare post-event feedback survey analysis reports for Management update
• Monitor community sentiment, participation trends and content performance, and recommend interventions to strengthen member value proposition and engagement
• Track and analyse CPD fulfilment including progress with mandatory CPD topics and popular CPD topics or activities
• Collaborate with CCE team to identify and nudge eligible certified professionals for recertification and upgrades
• Identify, build rapport, and liaise with IHRP certified professionals to identify subject matter experts and thought leaders for Community of Practice initiatives
• Support CPD Lead and CPD team members with key activities such as Annual Community Pulse Survey, Premium Masterclasses and IHRP-MP Engagement activities

About you

• Prior experience with organising and managing virtual/physical events is preferred
• Familiarity and exposure to the design, development and delivery of multi-modal learning and community engagement programmes is preferred
• Experience or exposure to CRM and EDM tools and video-making/authoring tools (e.g. SCORM) would be an added advantage
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
• Self-directed, attention to detail and ability to multi-task across concurrent projects
• Strong planning and organisational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to present with confidence
