Assistant Manager - Custom Applications & Integration

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of developers responsible for custom applications and enterprise systems.
• Manage the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support.
• Oversee application integration initiatives across enterprise platforms and third-party systems.
• Ensure adherence to software development, security, change management, and release management best practices.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify requirements and deliver effective technology solutions.
• Drive application modernization, optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage reporting and analytics solutions, including backend data repositories and reporting tools.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development team members.
• Monitor application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain technical and user documentation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions to support business growth.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in software development, systems integration, and enterprise applications.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Proven experience managing development projects and supporting business-critical applications.
• Experience working within enterprise environments and cross-functional teams.
