Position: AssistantManager – Demand Planning & Logistics

Location: Mahim

Experience Required: 4 to 6 Years

Qualification: MBA/PGDM (Preferred Operations)

Job Description:

• Demand planning as per sales requirement on a quarterly basis.
• Track and control overall inventory including Plant/OEM, RM/SFG stock controls
• Determine a control RM/PM indenting based on confirmed demand requisition in FG.
• Arrive at product-wise / branch-wise demand on monthly basis to be submitted in advance to OEM & Purchase.
• Long-term inventory planning this will include foreseeing demand & planning for capacity expansion / additional supply source to cater to future demands.
• Minimal variation (less than 10%) of the actual demand based on MRP Vs Demand Planning.
• Have proper supply schedule product wise as per supply destination
• Prepare list of shortages with reasoning.
• Excess inventory management and coordination with branches for early liquidation.
• Ageing inventory tracking & reduction plan
• Regular interaction with branch manager / zonal manager on liquidation plan and have data of plan Vs actuals
• Inbound entry for all dispatches from vendor to branches.
• Coordinate & Follow-up with vendors on pending dispatches.
• Follow-up with branches on pending GRN.
• Update PR (Purchase requisition) received from branches & process the same with prior checking with concerned OEM / Purchase on availability & updating the branch on supply date. Keep track of such supply schedules & update the plan Vs actual on weekly basis.
• Update branch queries on stock dispatches & availabilities.
• OTIF Report
• Sap & MS-Excel exposure mandatory.
