Assistant Manager-Diagnostics Development

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Purpose of the role: The objective of this job is to closely work with R&D team and develop Diagnostic procedures , Advanced Diagnostic tools and improve the repair quality at dealer workshop

Key Responsibilities:

1. Developing diagnostic procedures for new models

2. Developing wiring manuals

3. Working closely with field technical team to capture the best available procedure to diagnose problems

4. Analyzing field failure reports , to release quick solutions to field

5. Representing service to capture field failures in various new product DFMEA’s

6. Validation of the diagnostic, flashing tools and releasing to field

Education Qualification

BE/B.Tech in Automobile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics engineering

General Experience

Around 3 to 5 years experience in technical support in Automotive industry

Critical Experience

Primary Skills:

1. Experience in automotive trouble shooting

2. Exposure to latest technologies in automobiles

3. Good analytical skills

4. Knowledge in automotive electronics

Secondary Skills:

1. Technical Writing: Ability to create clear and concise manuals and documentation,

2. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with technical teams,

3. Problem-Solving: Aptitude for developing quick and effective solutions to field issues,

4. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently,

5. Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in diagnostic procedures and manuals.
