Assistant Manager, Digital Distribution Solution

To lead the design, development, delivery and support of business-critical applications, ensuring service stability, security compliance and successful project execution while providing technical leadership to the development team.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of BAU and project support activities.
• Manage and provide technical leadership to the existing development team, including task prioritization, technical guidance, code reviews and delivery oversight.
• Manage security-related matters, incidents, and production issues in a timely manner.
• Support planned releases and ongoing project initiatives.
• Provide standby support for unplanned production incidents outside of working hours when required.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, transition, and handover activities.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive solution design, architecture reviews, development standards and best practices.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through code review, testing governance and risk management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum CGPA 3.2 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 8+ years of application development experience with at least 2 years in a Technical Lead or team leadership role.
• Strong experience in .Net, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs and enterprise application development.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, system integration and software architecture.
• Experience managing production support, incident management and security remediation activities.
• Strong stakeholder communication, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery and release management.
