We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager, Engineering to join our resort team. The successful candidate will assist in overseeing the daily engineering operations, ensuring all facilities, equipment, and systems are maintained to the highest standards to provide exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising the Engineering Department's daily operations.
• Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance programs are effectively implemented.
• Monitor and maintain all resort facilities, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors for repair and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage engineering records, reports, inventories, and maintenance schedules.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and cost-control measures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and operational issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop engineering team members to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

✅ Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related field).
✅ Minimum 3-5 years of engineering experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment in same capacity.
✅ Experience in maintaining hotel facilities, building systems, and guest service areas.
✅ Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and preventive maintenance systems.
✅ Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
✅ Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
✅ Familiarity with safety regulations and hospitality industry standards.
