Role & responsibilities

Advance License Applications, for SION and No Norms Product Applications

1. Working on Adv License Application for Input Output Norms

2. Advance License Applications, for SION and No Norms Product Applications

3. Monitoring Export v/s Import Proportionate to Export Obligation & Import Entitlement

4. Timely Red Alerts for export obligation completion

5. Invalidation and Enhancement Requests

6. Redemption and Clubbing of Licenses

EPCG License Application and Redemption

• Monitoring Export Obligations under Advance License, DFIA, and EPCG Schemes

DGFT Liaison & Compliance

1. Coordination with DGFT offices (Delhi & Mumbai) for resolution of licensing and

2. policy-related issues

3. Attending Personal Hearings at DGFT (JDGFT, DDGFT), DRI (Department of Revenue

4. Intelligence),and Customs Authorities

5. Case study and preparation for Policy Relaxation Committee (PRC) matters

6. Drafting and handling DGFT/Customs correspondence and representations

7. Identifying and resolving problematic cases under various DGFT schemes

8. Regular follow-up and relationship management with DGFT officials for case resolution

Documentation & Coordination related to Adv Licensing

1. Review of Shipping Bills to ensure correct export scheme and license tagging

2. Preparation and maintenance of MIS reports for EXIM review and audit

3. Supporting customers and internal teams with technical guidance on DGFT/Customs processes

Advance License-MIS Reporting

1. Coordinating import duty savings through proper planning of Advance Licenses

2. Tracking Import Purchase Orders in the system with focus on Adv Lic availability

3. Generating and sharing regular MIS reports on PO status for Adv Lic reco

4. Aligning export orders with import POs and conducting gap analysis for license utilization

5. Highlighting shortfalls or delays through structured escalation and follow-up

Documentation & Compliance

1. Maintaining organized records of Bills of Entry (BOE) mapped to PO, delivery, and payment schedules

2. Maintaining Shipping Bill copy

3. Ensuring accurate and timely closure of import payment regularizations with banking partners

Vendor Payment Management

1. Checking of Bills from Services

2. Coordinating with Finance for timely vendor payments related to import consignments

3. Ensuring accurate documentation and approvals to avoid payment delays

Brand Rate Drawback

1. Checking Brand Rate applicability of Duty Paid Products

2. Follow-up with Plant for duty Paid material in Export Product shipments

3. Brand Rate Application and Follow-up
