Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced **Assistant Manager – Finance** to manage financial operations, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, compliance, and financial analysis. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial expertise, and the ability to work closely with management and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day financial operations, including **budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis**.

* Implement financial policies, processes, and controls to ensure compliance and accuracy.

* Monitor financial performance, identify gaps, and provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency.

* Prepare and present **financial statements, MIS, reports, and analysis** to management.

* Manage **cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and financial risks**.

* Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accuracy of financial records.

* Coordinate **audits, tax filings, and statutory compliance**.

* Work with cross-functional teams and support key financial decisions.

* Stay updated with financial regulations, industry practices, and accounting standards.

Skills & Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in **Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field**.

* **3+ years of relevant experience** in financial management, accounting, or finance operations.

* CA / professional certification or Master's degree will be an added advantage.

* Strong knowledge of **financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounting principles**.

* Experience in cash flow, working capital, and financial risk management.

* Advanced proficiency in **MS Excel** and financial/accounting software.

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

* High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

* Experience in **legal, financial services, or insurance** is preferred.
