Assistant Manager – Financial Reporting

Role Summary: Responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies. Supports management with accurate financial information and insights for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and company accounting policies.
• Perform financial analysis, variance reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit engagements.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor general ledger accuracy and ensure timely month-end and year-end closures.
• Assist in implementing financial controls and process improvements.
• Prepare reports and submissions for regulatory authorities and senior management.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
