What they need
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Perform monthly depreciation calculations for all fixed assets, including capitalisation of new additions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely recording of asset movements, disposals, and write-offs.
- Analyze financial reports to identify trends and areas for improvement in fixed asset management.
Job Requirements :
- 5-10 years' experience in fixed asset accounting or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of depreciation rules (e.g., MACRS) and capitalisation policies.
- Proficiency in managing large datasets using specialized software (e.g., Oracle).
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification (CPA/CMA) preferred.
