Assistant manager-Formulation/ Technical development manager

工作职责:

• Technical development

1 Design and develop formula compliant for China according to the launch plan needs and aligned with the cost/quality/timing, by interacting with project team to propose and explain the technical choice.

Contribute to the product communication in collaboration with marketing and RD (clinical and regulatory).

2 Follow the trend of raw materials and technology from supplier, explore opportunity of new texture, formulate the prototypes and do preliminary testing (pre-development) in accordance with brand strategy and priorities.

3 Anticipates potential formulation challenges and proactively collaborate with multiple functional teams on troubleshooting and resolve problems.

4 Remain abreast and curiosity on industry trend and consumer need, be able to leverage in-depth knowledge of the scientific principles of formulation, ingredient chemistry and dermatology insight trend to deliver innovative products, explore innovative ideas to meet the un-met consumer needs.

5 Support on new product concept, insight and valorization.

6 Identify the need gap for open development and propose solutions with feasibility and compliance by working closely together with operation team to develop new subcontracting products.

• Project management

1 Interact with RD experts and coordinate the tasks for technical product development (interactions with pilot, analytical, microbio, raw material, regulatory, safety, packaging etc…) to achieve the targets in term of cost, timing and quality.

2 Report to project manager in France the advancement and potential warning

3 In case of issue, work and propose an action plan with the stakeholders and monitor its implementation.

• Lab management

1 Assist the daily management and quality assurance of the formulation laboratory.

2 May assist with training technician or temporary staff in laboratory procedures.
